Tonight/Wednesday in New Haven, Café
Nine presents the Tinklebelle’s Ladies Variety Show at Café Nine. On Thursday
you can catch The Way Down Wanderers and The Alpaca Gnomes. Friday’s Happy Hour
at Café Nine features The Gatehouse Band. Friday night’s late show includes
Roosevelt Dime and The Let Loose. Saturday’s Jazz Jam Session is with the
George Baker Band, followed by the late show with Pinned and Sewtured
presenting the Puppet Cabaret Variety Show. The Sunday Buzz Matinee brings back
the George Baker Band, and they round out the weekend with a Sex Beat Dance

At Toad’s Place in New Haven, on
Thursday, it’s Protohype with Stabby, including performers on the Main Stage
and in the Rainforest Room. It’s the Memorial Day Battle of the Bands on

The Buttonwood Tree in Middletown
brings you The Middlesex Drum Circle on Thursday. On Friday, enjoy the Andres
Collins Trio from Canada bringing you acoustic roots and more. The Aligned with
Source workshop is on board Saturday morning, and singer/songwriter Andrew
Biagiarelli performs Saturday night along with Someone You Can Xray. John
Basinger performs the one-man play, “Lear Alone,” Sunday night. The multimedia

Sally’s, it's the Wednesday Community Blues Jam, and on Thursday it’s

Hartford’s Real Art Ways continues
“1945,” a film about Holocaust guilt in Hungary, and “Lives Well Lived,” the
collected stories of people aged 75 to 100. Also continuing is “I Feel Pretty,”
starring Amy Schumer as an insecure woman who believes she’s a supermodel after
a head injury. On Friday they open “Isle of Dogs,” a stop-motion film by Wes
Anderson, and “Boom for Real: The Late Teenage Years of Jean-Michel Basquiat.”

Hartford continues a run “Loveless,” a Russian film about the disappearance of
an adolescent boy. On Thursday they open “Isle of Dogs,” and offer a one-day

At midnight to 1:30 it's Lyrics 2 Go

And at 4am, the BBC World News comes
on board and we begin our broadcast day with Morning Edition from NPR at 5am.
