Tomorrow, the Wesleyan Center for
the Arts presents the Annual Organ Romp at Memorial Chapel on Thursday.
There’s West African Drumming and Dance on Friday in the CFA Courtyard, and the
Zilkha Gallery hosts a Reception for the Thesis Art Exhibition Saturday

Tonight/Wednesday, the Buttonwood
Tree in Middletown is hosting an Opening Reception for the May exhibition of
mixed media works by Geonna Kilne. You can enjoy Senegalese tama drumming and
world percussion Thursday night with Tona Vacca and Massamba Diop. Friday’s
headliner at The Buttonwood Tree you can catch guitarist/composer Hiroya
Tsukamoto, who will be calling Bill Revill live in the studio on Acoustic
Blender, tonight. Sophie Spaner & Mat Seymour open that shows. you On
Saturday morning it’s the Aligned with Source workshop, and in the evening you

tonight/Wednesday, there's a discussion of “Wonder” as part of the One Book on
the Riverbend series, and Joseph Reynolds reads from his novel, “Make Dust Our
Paper.” The Friends of the Library Book Sale happens Friday and Saturday. Their
Crafts for Adults series Friday morning presents Painting Rocks. There’s
Chamber Music in the Courtyard Saturday morning, and their Authors 06457 series
continues in the lobby with Chanda E Gonzalez and Lisa Irish. You can also meet
Democratic candidates exploring or running for governor in the Hubbard Room.

it’s their weekly Wednesday Community Blues Jam. Liviu’s Jazz Invitational with
special guests happens every Thursday, and this Friday you can enjoy Carla
Cooke, daughter of the legendary Sam Cooke. It’s original Detroit modern soul
on Saturday with Laura Rain & The Caesars on stage at Blackeyed Sally’s and

In New Haven tonight, Café Nine
presents the Saint James Trio. You can catch Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog at Café

This Saturday, at DNKL, Tibetan
Buddhist Center for World Peace in Redding, CT Author Janet Ettele (sounds like
Italy with an "EE" sound at the beginning and end), will discuss the
every-day practicality of certain Buddhist principles to cultivate inner peace,
a necessary ingredient for world peace. This talk begins at 11:00AM and will

Through Thursday, Hartford’s Real
Art Ways continues their run of “Little Pink House,” a film about a woman
fighting eminent domain in New London CT, also continuing through Thursday is
“Zama,” a South American film about colonialism and one man’s destiny, through
Thursday. On Friday they open “Hitler’s Hollywood,” a documentary that collages
key films from the Nazi era. Also opening is “Claire’s Camera,” a French comedy
about a schoolteacher in Cannes, and the recent superhero release, “Black

Trinity College’s Cinestudio in
Hartford continues “Leaning Into The Wind: Andy Goldsworthy” a documentary of
