I’m Maria Johnson, producer and host of Reasonably Catholic: Keeping the Faith, a progressive minded radio show which this summer airs every Tuesday, from 4 to right before the Jive at Five. Next Tuesday, the 13th, my guests will be two experts in architecture, specifically religious architecture. One of them is particularly interested in the idea of a church on the moon! Tomorrow Manic Presents brings The Regrettes, appearing with Hot Flash Heat Wave, and Mandala to the Space Ballroom with Tessa Violet and Chloe Lilac taking the stage on Sunday. At the College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Manic Presents brings The Mountain Goats and Daughter of Swords to the stage tonight.

Cherry Street Station in Wallingford presents a Relay for Life musical benefit tonight featuring Buzzard Canyon, Gorge, Crossing Rubicon, and Nomad -- and on Sunday they open the Backyard Concert Series: Hard Rock Edition with Dirt, Joe Stump, Renegade Cartel, and more. At Hartford’s Real Art Ways, continuing are “Yesterday,” about a world that never knew the Beatles, and “In The Aisles,” a German film about a motley group of night workers in a big box store. Tonight they open “Light of My Life,” Casey Affleck’s film about a post-pandemic world, and “Maiden,” a documentary of the first ever all-female crew to enter a round-the-world yacht race. From 10- Midnight, stay tuned for Mentaltown with The Ultimate Emcee El Vee, presenting 2 hrs of Local Unsigned Hip Hop artists.
From 12:00-3am, stay tuned for Overdrive with Clarence and Shantay Scott. Praising God with a unique mix of urban contemporary, hip hop, and traditional gospel music.
