Tues 1-7-19 Jive

Good evening, it's Tuesday, January 7th. This is the Jive at Five, our daily community calendar and rundown of nighttime programming here on 88.1 FM WESU Middletown. By day, WESU offers talk radio from NPR and Pacifica, as well as independent and local public affairs sources. Weeknights and weekends our student and community volunteers bring you the best in free-form programming.

I’m Ben Michael, Thanks for joining us today. While WESU’s 80th anniversary year has come and gone, we still need you help to wrap up our Fall/Winter Pledge drive. With over 70% of our funding goal met, we still need to raise over $6,000 in community support. So, if WESU means something to you and you are in a position to help, your donation will go a long way towards keeping community radio alive and well at WESU. If you tune in regularly and have to support WESU with a donation, please give what you can and check out our great thank you gifts online at www.wesufm.org/pledge .  Every dollar counts and we need to hear from you!
