Here in Middletown, The Buttonwood Tree tonight The Middlesex Drum Circle meets on Thursday, and on Friday the folk duo Real Stormin’ Norman and guitarist Mat Kastner take the stage. The Aligned with Source Workshop happens Saturday morning, and folk artist Meghan Cary will be in the house Saturday night. This month’s exhibit is photography by Ed Friedman. www.buttonwood.org
In New Haven, CafĂ© Nine’s it’s a big lineup with Ceschi and Anonymous Inc, M. Sayyid, Ecce Shnak, and more. Friday’s Happy Hour show features Shellye Valauskas and Dean Facone, and the evening show’s got Alecks, and The Right Offs. Saturday’s afternoon Jazz Jam Session is with the George Baker Band, and the evening show brings you Tiny Ocean, Xzvier Serrano, and Christina Harris.
