Monday 2-5-18 Jive

Good evening, it's Monday, February 5th. This is the Jive at Five, our daily community calendar and rundown of nighttime programming here on 88.1 FM WESU Middletown. By day, WESU offers talk radio from NPR and Pacifica, as well as independent and local public affairs sources. Weeknights and weekends our student and community volunteers bring you the best in free-form programming.

I'm Maria Johnson, producer and host of "Reasonably Catholic: Keeping the Faith," now in its fifth year of bringing a progressive take on faith and action. Tomorrow at 4 p.m., a visit with bestselling historian and biographer Stephen Mansfield, a center-right evangelical Christian who in his latest book, Choosing Donald Trump: God, Anger, Hope, and Why Christian Conservatives Supported Him, explores how it happened that the family-values crowd made such a deal with the devil, and while we're at it, what made Trump Trump, anyway? Can't listen live? Find the audio archived tomorrow night at www.reasonablycatholic.com.
