Here's the rundown of tonight’s lineup here on WESU 88.1 FM Middletown:
Right after the Jive at Five, stay tuned for Wonderland with DJ Cheshire Cat from 5:05-6pm. From krautrock to post-rock, grunge to garage, blues to BeBop, novelty to New Romantic, Wonderland has a place for it.
From 6-8pm Bill Revill brings us Acoustic Blender, offering an eclectic selection of new and older folk, Americana, bluegrass, blues and other music that has a roots influence with a concert listing at 7pm and frequent concert and festival ticket giveaways.

And starting at 8pm, stay tuned for Roll Over Beethoven. Who knows classical composers who aren't cis white men? The favorites--Bach, Mozart, Beethoven--surely get eliminated. R.O.B. is dedicated to making the equally profound sounds of marginalized and modern composers known.

At 10, it's an hour of Windy City Sounds. An episodic look at different eras and genres of the Chicago music scene.

from 11 to midnight it's The Guest List.  Come along with DJ Lukey G and his weekly guest on a journey of playlist curation based on a weekly theme: a color, a movie, a mood, you name it!

And from midnight to 1 it's State of the Union. A talk show about liminal spaces and other shared interests.

at 1 it's Word on the Street, exploring the link between language and music, picking a meaningful word from the week and seeing how it can inspire a musical path.

Note to Self comes on board at 2am with Celiac. Letters to self -- past, present, or future. A place for people to get creative with their thoughts, their hopes and dreams. Even the boring ones.

at 3am third shift listeners can catch an encore presentation of our noontime broadcast of Democracy Now!

At 4am we kick off our daytime public affairs block with BBC World Report followed by morning edition from NPR at 5am.

Stay tuned each weekday, for the area’s most diverse mix of public affairs from Pacifica, NPR, and independent sources.

For a complete schedule of all our free-form and public affairs programming, visit our website wesufm.org.

That's all for today's Jive at Five. Join us weekdays at 4:55 for a daily rundown of area happenings and a rundown of evening programming on WESU Middletown!

Thanks for listening. Stay tuned for Wonderland with DJ Cheshire Cat.
