The Buttonwood Tree in Middletown offers a Shaking the Tree
Gong and Sound Meditation on Thursday. The Adler & Hearner Jazz Folk Duo
takes the buttonwood Tree stage Thursday night, and the Cindy Lee Berryhill
Trio will be in the house on Saturday with material from their new collection.
The Aligned with Source Workshop happens Saturday morning, and there’s a Teen
Open Mic Saturday afternoon at The Buttonwood. On Saturday evening you can

In New Haven at Café Nine tonight/Wednesday you can catch Prophets of Addiction, Darn It
All, and New Year’s Revolution. It’s The Number 9 Blacktops and The Shoutbacks
at The Nine on Thursday. Friday’s Happy Hour features Jenny Parrott, and in the
evening Manic Presents brings you hardcore O.G. rockers, Agent Orange,
performing with Fea, and Easy Killer. Saturday Café Nine’s afternoon Jazz Jam
Session is with Tony Dioguardi & Friends, and the Saturday night late show
features Magic Dick & Shun Ng, with the Bouchard Brothers opening. The Café
Nine Sunday Buzz Matinee features La Tunda, The Natch, and The Lamb Bombs, and

Up in Hartford at Black-Eyed Sally’s, it's the Wednesday Community Blues and on
Thursday it’s Liviu’s Jazz Invitational with special guests. Enjoy funky blues

The Fiddlers Workshop continues Wednesday evening at Russell
Library in Middletown. They sponsor a Book Discussion with the Author Thursday
evening presenting Abby Fabiaschi with her debut novel, “I Liked My Life.”
Assemblages from Natural Materials is the theme of Friday morning’s Crafts for
Adults workshop. The Russell Library Girls Who Code program sponsors a Robotics
Demonstration Saturday morning by the Mercy Tech Tigers, and there’s Yoga in
the Courtyard too. Next Monday’s noontime Book Talk with a Walk will discuss
“Tuesdays with Morrie,” and the Eat Right When Money is Tight nutrition series
continues at 1 pm with Label Reading. Check the website for more activities and

Riverfront Recapture sponsors a weekly contemporary dance

continues at Constitution Plaza in Hartford Wednesday at noon with an acoustic

their Salons at Lunch series Wednesday at noon. Enjoy facilitated conversations
on social justice issues. In their Kids Will Change the World book club series

Hartford’s Real Art Ways continues “Three Identical
Strangers,” a documentary about identical triplets adopted out at birth, and
“The Cakemaker,” about a young German baker’s relationship with an Israeli
businessman. On Friday they open “Mountain,” a documentary of the human/mountain
