At the tail end of WESU’s 80th anniversary year, WESU is struggling
to wrap up our fall pledge drive, and we need your support. With $over $12K left
to raise in community support before the end of 2019, we are depending on our listeners
and supporters to make their annual year end contribution. We also need to hear
from those of you who tune in regularly but have yet to become radioactive with
a donation.
The simple fact that you are listening means that you’ve
chosen not to listen to any of the other listening options out there. Since you
are tuned in, please taka minute to reflect on how WESU has contributed to the
quality of your life. Does the service we provide keep you informed, entertained,
or perhaps even enlightened? Do we bring you content you cannot elsewhere? As a
community radio station, these are our goals and we are glad to have your ear,
but there is no community radio without listener support. We need your
donation, no matter how big or how small, to keep the station going. See our thank you gifts and donate now
online at wesufm.org/pledge. Thanks!
That's all for today's Jive at Five. Join us weekdays at
4:55 for a daily rundown of area happenings and a rundown of evening
programming on WESU Middletown!
Thanks for listening.
Stay tuned for a special holiday edition of River Valley
Rhythms with Stephan Allison featuring the Late great Dr Roy Lisker.
