The Buttonwood Tree in Middletown tonight, there’s an Acoustic Open Mic with Bob Gotta. It’s blues and bluegrass on Friday at The Buttonwood Tree with Rebecca Roudman and her band, Dirty Cello. The Aligned with Source Workshop is on deck Saturday morning, and in the evening you can catch the Frank Varela Jazz Trio. Free events this week sponsored by Wesleyan University’s Center for the Arts continue tonight there’s a panel discussion titled Talk It Out: The Laramie Project – Centering Queer Voices: Documenting Trauma and Resilience, at the Downey House Lounge, as well as a talk by poet and cultural critic Lewis Hyde at the Zilkha Gallery.
