Good evening, it's Tuesday, January First 2019! Happy NEW YEAR!! This is the Jive at Five, our daily community calendar and rundown of nighttime programming here at 88.1 FM WESU Middletown. By day, WESU offers talk radio from NPR and Pacifica, as well as independent and local public affairs sources. Many thanks to the relatively small but discerning audience who value variety in their radio diet enough to help sustain it through our biennial pledge drives.  Together, we made it through another one! The money raised will help us pay off our new transmitter so we can continue to keep free form community radio alive and well in central CT for years to come! Happy New Year! If you missed the opportunity to give during recent pledge drive, never fear, we still need your help! Money raised beyond our goal will help WESU celebrate 80 years of engaging, provocative, and daring radio!  www.wesufm.org/pledge
