Good evening, it's Monday, Dec. 10th, and this is the
Jive at Five - WESU's Daily community calendar and rundown of night time
programming here on 88.1 FM WESU Middletown, your station for NPR, Pacifica,
independent and local public affairs by day and the best in free-form community
programming week nights and weekends.
Thanks to your generosity, our winter pledge drive has
met its goal and so we are ending the drive a day early. Of course, if you
didn't get a chance to pledge, you're still more than welcome to do so. Just go
to our website, wesufm.org; all the information you need for pledging and
claiming your thank you gift is there.
I'm Maria Johnson, host of Reasonably Catholic: Keeping
the Faith, which airs every 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday from 4 p.m. to right
before the Jive. My guest a week from tomorrow will be Rev. Gabriella Velardi
Ward, one of a growing number of women ordained to the Roman Catholic
priesthood despite the Vatican?s prohibition of it.
Thanks for tuning in.
