This Friday
brings Shakespeare goes to Italy!, a fundraising event on the rooftop garden of
Middletown’s Community Health Center to support the 11th Season of ARTFARM’s
Shakespeare in the Grove. The event features Italian wines, hors d’oeuvres,
live Italian music, selections from this summer’s production, good company and
the spectacular view of Middletown, the Arrigoni Bridge and the Connecticut
River Valley from the sustainable gardens on the fifth floor of the Health
Center. "Shakespeare Goes To Italy" will run from 7 - 9 pm on Friday,

Through
Thursday, Hartford’s Real Art Ways continues their run of Eva Hess, a
documentary about the German-born American artist. Also on screen through
Thursday at Real Art Ways is, “Wedding Doll”. This Israeli film tells the
story of Hagit, a young woman with mild mental deficiency, who works in a
toilet-paper factory. For one day only, this Wednesday evening, Real Art
Ways presents “Time to Choose” from oscar-winning documentary director Charles
Ferguson, who turns his lens to address global climate change in a new film
showing the breadth of the climate challenge. Saturday, Real Art Ways presents
a double feature of “Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made”
and “Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation,” along with director Eric Zala in
