Hartford’s Real Art Ways continues the run of “Obit,” a film that explores the world of obituary writers. Both run through Thursday. Continuing through Wednesday is “Like Crazy,” an Italian film about friendship and madness in a psychiatric clinic. On Thursday they screen “Disturbing the Peace,” a film about former Israeli and Palestinian enemy combatants who come together to challenge the status quo. There’s a post-screening Q&A with director Stephen Apkon. They explore the ideology of White House strategist Stephen Bannon’s  with Bannon’s documentary “Generation Zero” on Saturday, along with a post-film discussion. They open “The Commune” on Friday, about a post-70’s Copenhagen commune, and “The Zookeeper’s Wife,” about resistance efforts in Nazi-occupied Warsaw. Trinity College’s Cinestudio in Hartford continues “Panique,” the restoration of a 1947 classic about intrigue in Nazi-occupied France, through Thursday. Through next Thursday, Hartford’s Real Art Ways continues their run of “Obit,” a film that explores the world of obituary writers. Trinity College’s Cinestudio in Hartford is now showing “Glory,” a Bulgarian comedy about national discord. It runs through Saturday. Right after the Jive At Five, from 5:05 to 6:30pm, stay tuned for some free form fun with DJ Ari!

6:30 to 7 is the Middletown Youth Radio Project, featuring the thoughts, voices, creativity and talent of the kids in the WESU neighborhood.

At 7 until 8:30pm we have the Universal Sound Wave with Sistah Tee - offering listeners a wide range of music including African, reggae, gospel, R&B, Latin, and blues. Plus health, nutrition, and stress reduction tips.

Next up until 10pm, we take it From the Otherside with Rok-A-Dee where 60% of the show is love songs of different genre and the others Reggae Dancehall, R&B, and new artiste.   
                                                       
Then from 10 to 11:30pm it's Strickly Off the Head where DJ Cocomotion the Music Mixologist provides a live mixshow done on the fly or freestyle, with no pre-planned mixes or blends - R&B, old school, hip hop, rap and house.

From 11:30pm until 2am Saturday we go into serious OVERDRIVE w/Clarence & Shantay Scott - offering Urban Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Traditional gospel music.

From 2 until 4am you are taken to Wonderland with DJ Cheshire Cat, who has a song in his heart, a chemical imbalance in his head and a musical library at his fingers. From krautrock to post-rock, grunge to garage, novelty to New Romantic, punk to prog, Wonderland has a place for it.

The Hour of Slack from The Church of the SubGenius Radio Ministry covers the hour from 4 to 5am with a compendium of the best and newest from all SubGenius radio & stage shows, bands, ranters, media barrage collage artists, plus the weirdest of the indie audio underground.

And we bring in the daylight from 5:00 to 6:00am with the BBC World News - a daily News roundup from the British Broadcasting Corporation

And staying on the other side of the big pond, from 6 to 7am it’s the Celtic Café with Pat Laffan and Mark Gallagher presenting traditional and contemporary music with a Celtic connection.

And now that the coffee’s hot enjoy Caffé Italia from 7:00 to 8:00am, serving up a slice of Italy every Saturday morning. You don't have to speak Italian to taste it: just relax, listen, and enjoy!

At 8:30 its back to the music on Evening Jazz with Bill Denert, where "Hearing is the best experience" offering a broad range of swing, be bop and avante garde with a sprinkling of new releases. 

At 10om Jazzalicious Definition with MC Mcgee and DJ Stocks'n'Socks offers an hour of
Jazz and jazz influenced music with something different every week.

From 11-midnight The American Empire with, Tootse Mutant explores the effects of American Cultural Imperialism on the world's soundscape. From Peruvian Punk to Japanese Jazz we'll take a look at how other countries have adopted American music styles.

At midnight The Audible Underground with Joshinvents invites listeners to explore a variety of underground music by independent or relatively unknown artists from many genres, while occasionally discussing current events neglected by mainstream media.

From 1-2am Festival Files with DJ Frita takes a look back at legendary folk and rock concerts from around the country and the music idols that dominated the stages throughout the years.

From 2-4am DJ coroner's last will & testimony Haunts the midnight airwaves with an eclectic mix of oneiric, experimental sounds. Ambient, noise, drone, footwork, art pop, poetry readings and more.
