03-13-17 Jive Jive At Five · Post

Good evening, it's Monday March 13th. This is the Jive at Five, our daily community calendar and rundown of nighttime programming here on 88.1 FM WESU Middletown. By day, WESU offers talk radio from NPR and Pacifica, as well as independent and local public affairs sources. Weeknights and weekends our student and community volunteers bring you the best in free-form programming.

I'm Maria Johnson, producer and host of Reasonably Catholic: Keeping the Faith, which airs every first, third and fifth Tuesday, from 4 to right before the Jive at Five. We'll have some interesting shows to bring you over the next few weeks, including a chat with a Baptist minister who wrote a book-long love letter to Pope Francis; a push for same-sex prom-going at Catholic high schools; a look at three films on DVD that take up the life of Jesus; and a visit with a Freemason who feels his organization is unfairly dissed by the Church. Can't llisten live? Find the audio, along with other bells and smells of interest, archived at reasonablycatholic.com.
