Good evening, it's Tuesday,
January 5th, and this is the Jive at Five, our daily community calendar and
rundown of night time programming, here on 88.1 FM WESU Middletown, your
station for NPR, Pacifica, independent and local public affairs by day, and the
best in free-form community programming week-nights and weekends. Thanks for
joining us! Happy New Year!!
I'm Marianne O’Hare ….
Thanks to our
supporters for a successful fall turned winter pledge drive. When it really comes down to it, there are literally
a few hundred people whose donations ensure free form community radio has a
home at WESU. On behalf of the thousands
of listeners who listen to WESU regularly, but haven’t yet seen the light, and
all of the WESU staff, thanks for having our back with a donation this fall.
Your support sustains the community service that WESU provides. As more people join
in and support our work, we can increase the value and impact of the work we do.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
