Friday Jive

Good evening, it's Friday June 22nd. This is the Jive at Five, WESU's Daily community calendar and run down of night time programming here on 88.1 FM WESU Middletown. Tonight at the Buttonwood tree here in Middletown, Joe Flood will be performing with Joe Fonda on Upright bass and Scott Kessel, drumship enterprise!  Don’t miss this combination of creative musicians. Saturday night from 8-10pm jazz musician Dan Arcamone who has just released a new album, will be playing a mix from all three of his albums and jazz standards.   Food Not Bombs shares food about 1 pm in front of the Buttonwood Tree every Sunday. All are welcome to enjoy the meal help prepare the feast at First Church on Court Street in Middletown at 11:30 am. Later on at 7:30 at the Buttonwood Sunday evening, “Coming to the mic” is an open mic that will be filmed in its entirety to be aired on Comcast TV.
